From the moment they reached out about their engagement session in Malibu, I knew this would be something special. They first connected on Hinge, but fate had already brought them together once before — they just didn’t realize it at the time. When they eventually reconnected, it was like the universe had been waiting for the timing to be right. They got engaged in dreamy Carmel, where they’re also planning an intimate wedding that reflects their grounded, intentional style.
For their engagement session, they wanted images that felt natural, playful, and deeply romantic — the kind of love that feels like something out of a movie. We captured them dancing barefoot in the water, laughing as they ran through the waves, and popping a bottle of champagne as the sun dipped into the ocean. One of my favorite moments? Watching them pour champagne into each other’s mouths mid-laughter — carefree, unapologetically fun, and so them.
